1. Affirmation of Sound Research and Reporting Principles
The Author(s) affirm that the submitted work adheres to the highest standards of research and reporting integrity.
Originality and Exclusive Submission

- The manuscript is not under simultaneous consideration by any other journal or publisher.
- The Author(s) confirm that the submitted work does not constitute ‘salami-slicing’ (dividing a single study into multiple submissions).
- Any concurrent or secondary publication (e.g., translations) is fully disclosed and justified, with all necessary permissions obtained.
Data Integrity
- Research results are presented honestly, accurately, and without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate manipulation of data (including images).
- The Author(s) confirm adherence to discipline-specific rules for data acquisition, selection, and processing.
- The Author(s) agree, upon request, to provide relevant documentation or raw data for verification, excluding confidential or proprietary information.
Plagiarism and Proper Attribution
- The Author(s) confirm that no data, text, or theories by others are presented as their own. All sources are properly acknowledged through citation, summarization, paraphrasing, or verbatim quotation (using quotation marks), with permissions secured for any copyrighted material.
- The Author(s) understand that the Nexus e-Journal may use plagiarism detection software.
- The Author(s) confirm that all necessary permissions for the use of software, questionnaires, surveys, and scales used in the study have been obtained.
Ethical Conduct in Reporting
- The manuscript avoids untrue statements about any entity or descriptions that could be perceived as personal attacks.
- Any research with the potential for harmful misapplication (dual-use research) is clearly identified and discussed within the manuscript.
2. Authorship Responsibilities
The Author(s) confirm that:
- The author group, the designated Corresponding Author, and the order of authors are accurate and finalized at the time of initial submission.
- Any request to add or delete authors during revision stages will be accompanied by a detailed written explanation and justification to the Editor, understanding that such changes are generally not permitted.
- The Author(s) acknowledge that no changes to authorship can be made after a manuscript has been accepted for publication by the Nexus e-Journal.
3. Indemnification and Legal Warranty (Crucial Section)
By submitting the manuscript, the Author(s) warrant and guarantee that the work is original and does not infringe upon any copyright, proprietary right, privacy right, or any other right of any person or entity.
The Author(s) hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Nexus ASIA-PACIFIC: e-Journal of Multidisciplinary Research, its Publisher, Editors, Editorial Board members, and staff (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, costs, expenses (including reasonable legal fees), losses, and liabilities arising from any actual or alleged breach of this warranty.
This indemnification shall apply specifically, but not be limited, to any legal action, claim, or dispute related to:
- Plagiarism or the unauthorized use of others’ intellectual property.
- Copyright infringement related to text, figures, tables, data, or any other material within the manuscript.
- Defamation, invasion of privacy, or breach of confidentiality arising from the content of the manuscript.
The Author(s) accept full and sole responsibility for the legal defense of any such claims and for any settlement or judgment arising therefrom, and shall waive any right to pursue legal harm against the Indemnified Parties in relation to the submitted manuscript’s content and legality.
4. Acknowledgment of Misconduct Policies
The Author(s) understand and accept that if there is suspicion of research misconduct, unethical practices, or alleged fraud, the Nexus e-Journal will conduct a thorough investigation. Should valid concerns arise, the Author(s) will be contacted for a response, and the Journal may implement measures including, but not limited to: rejection of the manuscript, post-publication erratum/correction, expression of concern, article retraction (watermarked and linked with explanation), institutional notification, and/or notation on the bibliographic record.
5. Obligation to Correct Fundamental Errors
The Author(s) agree to promptly notify the Nexus e-Journal if they discover a significant error or inaccuracy in their published article, explaining the error’s impact. The Author(s) accept that corrective action (e.g., correction or retraction) will be determined by the Journal, with transparent communication of the impacted parts of the article.
6. Reviewer Suggestions and Exclusions
The Author(s) confirm that any suggested reviewers are independent and unconnected to the work, and that verifiable institutional email addresses (or alternative identity verification) are provided. The Author(s) understand that while suggestions are appreciated, the Nexus Asia-Pacific: e-Journal is not obligated to use them.
